Attention Kentucky Child Care Providers!

Make sure your workshops meet state requirements for licensing or certification

As child care providers in Kentucky, we know you understand how important training workshops are to your skills with children. 4C works to support you in improving those skills.

Beginning on January 1, 2004, the State of Kentucky began requiring that any trainer who presents a training to you for state-approved credit hours for licensing or certification requirements must have a Kentucky Trainer's Credential.

This is not a 4C requirement, but one that we must adhere to in our procedures. We work to support you in your work with children, while supporting the initiatives created by the State of Kentucky to assure quality care for all its children.

We want to assure you that all workshop in our 4C Kentucky office will be conducted by trainers who have the required credential. If you attend a workshop in Ohio or one offered by another agency, please ask if the trainer has the Kentucky Trainer's Credential.

Please call 4C at 859.781.3511 or 1.800.256.1296 with questions.

Thanks for all you do!
