Enhanced Services for Employers

Enhanced Child Care Resource and Referral | The Balancing Act | Work/Life Seminars | Dependent Care Needs Assessment Service | Contact Information

For over 15 years 4C has been a local leader in Dependent care services. 4C offers a wide range of enhanced services to employers from dependent care resource and referral services to needs assessment studies and work/life seminars. Due to our long time presence in the community we maintain a high quality service that is continually modified to keep up with the changing needs of today's workforce. Currently we offer the following programs to employers:

Enhanced Child Care Resource and Referral

This service offers customized searches of child care options, including licensed child care centers, preschools, school age programs and 4C registered family child care providers.

    • A provider profile is given for each referral giving detailed information on each childcare setting.
    • 4C contacts each provider to confirm vacancy information.
    • A 4C counselor is available throughout the search to offer additional referrals, resources or to address questions or concerns.
    • Consumer education materials are sent on selecting quality childcare. Also, materials and resource articles are available on child care or other topics such as discipline, separation anxiety or communication.
    • On-Site Seminars are provided at the workplace relating to topics of interests including child development, discipline, adolescents or issues relating to balancing work and family.
    • Free seasonal publications that cover topics such as tax information, summer care options and schoolage resources are made available to employees.

The Balancing Act

The Balancing Act is a collaborative effort between 4C and Cincinnati Area Senior Services. This service addresses the needs of a broader range of employees by providing both eldercare services and child care resource and referral services.

    • On-site seminars, covering eldercare issues, balancing work and family, and child development topics.
    • Enhanced eldercare resource and referral services including assistance with nursing home placement, home health care information, adult day care, Medicare information, meals on wheels and more. This service is available nationally no matter where the aging or disabled adult resides.
    • Publications on Medicare, planning for the future and how to select a home health aid and other resource material are available.

    • Presenters are selected based on their educational background and expertise.
    • 4C provides promotional materials to help advertise the seminar.
    • 4C provides a facilitator for each session , to help set up and introduce the presenter.

    • A summary evaluation report is compiled after each session based on participant evaluations.

Dependent Care Needs Assessment Services

4C is available to develop and administer customized needs assessment tools to evaluate the interest and need for dependent care services.

    • 4C will design the survey based on feedback from key individuals or groups representing the company.
